  • Flexibility - VoIP allows for making and receiving calls from anywhere with an internet connection, and doesn't tie you to any single provider

Unable to Make Calls?

If your phone is lit up red, has an X on everything, or is showing a warning like SIP Registration Failed, you likely have a configuration issue somewhere on the network preventing the phone from getting in touch with the voice server.

How to Resolve This Issue:

This is another one you'll probably need your IT or VoIP provider to go over with you. There may be something like SIP ALG enabled on the firewall, a Double NAT causing traffic issues, or some other config holding things up.
